For RetireesBad Weather Notice - - We will CANCEL our Luncheon Meetings WHEN THE
KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED due to the bad weather!!
Just a reminder for all “Soon-to-be” AND Current Sheet Metal Retirees, the second Wednesday of each month is our luncheon meetings at our union hall. We encourage you all to come, along with your spouse or friend, not only for the great food - but you will see some of your sheet metal retiree friends you’ve worked with through the years and enjoy their friendship and fellowship. If you have items that you would like posted on the Retirees page, please e-mail Greg Chastain at greg@sheetmetal2.org Attention All Local 2 Retirees.
Any and all retirees are welcome and are invited to join the Kansas City Local #2 Retirees Club. Dues are $12.00 per year. Remember, we have our monthly dinners at the Union Hall on the second Wednesday of the every month at 12:00, unless there is a special outing planned for that month. For our luncheon meetings at the Union Hall, we will have a $25.00 Attendance Prize. You Must Be Present To Win. This prize will be given away that day, it will not be held over or accumulate. If any of you have any old sheet metal tools and also old work photos you might bring them with you to share some good memories with the other retirees. Board games as well as card games are always fun if you care to bring them along. Come join the club for some good fellowship, food, and fun.
