Mid-America Water and Plumbing of Manhattan signs Union Agreement (Posted June 19, 2009)

Bruce Ewing, owner of Mid-American Water and Plumbing of Manhattan, Kansas, signed a contract with Local 2 Business Representative Mark Shughart on June 18th. Mid-American Water & Plumbing began business in 1987 primarily as a plumbing and mechanical contractor. Over the years they have worked on numerous government projects, primarily at military bases. Recently they were the prime mechanical contractor at Fort Riley on Custer Hill Beddown Facilities and Whitside Barracks, subbing the HVAC to Environmental Mechanical Contractors.

Mid-American Water & Plumbing is the first union sheet metal contractor in Manhattan, Kansas since 1986. We are excited about the signing and looking forward to a long and prosperous partnership between the membership and Mid-American Water & Plumbing.
